Universal CNC Motorcycle Rearsets

The MessnerMoto Universal CNC Motorcycle Rearsets are fully adjustable billet foot controls designed for café racers, custom motorcycles and performance-oriented builds. CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, these universal rearsets combine three sealed bearings in each lever pivot, folding footpegs, a 25 mm lever offset and a highly adjustable 20-position linkage system in a compact, precision-machined assembly.

The universal design gives custom builders the flexibility to integrate the rearsets into a wide range of motorcycle projects using suitable mounting brackets and linkage components. For selected motorcycles, MessnerMoto also offers dedicated mounting solutions and complete rearset kits.

Triple-Bearing Lever Pivots

Each brake and shift lever rotates on three sealed bearings, providing a precise and rigid pivot with smooth movement and minimal play. The triple-bearing arrangement provides additional support across the pivot compared with simpler single- or dual-bearing designs commonly used in motorcycle rearsets.

The result is a direct and controlled mechanical feel through both the gearshift and rear brake, while the sealed construction helps protect the bearings from dirt and contamination during normal road use.

20-Position Adjustable Linkage

These adjustable motorcycle rearsets provide 20 linkage positions in 8° increments, allowing precise control over linkage angle and positioning. The wide adjustment range gives builders flexibility when configuring the rearsets around different mounting positions, shift linkages and brake systems.

This is particularly useful on custom motorcycles where the rearset position and linkage geometry can differ significantly from the original foot controls.

25mm Offset & Folding Footpegs

The control levers incorporate a 25 mm offset from the centerline, providing additional clearance for brake and shift linkage components. Combined with the 20-position adjustment, the offset helps achieve clean linkage geometry where the frame, engine, exhaust or other components limit available space.

The CNC-machined folding footpegs feature a textured grip surface for positive boot contact. A robust stainless-steel folding mechanism allows the peg to move during minor contact or tip-overs rather than remaining completely rigid.

CNC-Machined 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum

Each component is precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The components are fine sandblasted to create a uniform satin texture before receiving a hard black anodized finish. Stainless-steel hardware is used throughout the assembly.

The result is a compact motorcycle foot-control system with the clean, technical appearance suited to high-end café racer and custom motorcycle builds.

Universal Rearsets – What Does Universal Mean?

MessnerMoto Universal Motorcycle Rearsets are designed as a flexible platform for custom motorcycle applications, rather than a direct bolt-on kit for every motorcycle. Depending on the application, installation may require motorcycle-specific mounting brackets, shift linkage components or brake actuation hardware.

For motorcycles using a mechanically actuated rear drum brake, the MessnerMoto Rearsets Brake Offset Linkage can be used where an offset brake actuation point is required. Always verify the mounting position, brake configuration and shift linkage geometry before installation.

The compact construction and extensive adjustment range make these café racer rearsets particularly suitable for motorcycles where the original foot controls are being repositioned or completely redesigned. They are designed for café racers, modern classics, restomods, performance-oriented motorcycles and one-off custom builds.
