The MessnerMoto 2-Button LED Motorcycle Handlebar Switch combines two illuminated controls in an ultra-slim 12 mm wide CNC-machined housing. Designed for 22 mm (7/8″) handlebars, the switch is machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and finished in hard-anodized black.

Two IP65 momentary push buttons provide a compact control solution for functions such as indicators, horn, high beam, starter or other custom electronics, while the integrated LEDs can be configured as visual indicators. Each button comes pre-soldered with 30 cm (12″) of 26 AWG wire, simplifying installation and internal handlebar routing.

Ultra-Slim 12 mm CNC Design

At only 12 mm wide and 45 mm in diameter, the switch takes up minimal handlebar space while providing two easily accessible controls. Its compact proportions make it particularly suitable for café racers, custom motorcycles, restomods and minimalist cockpit builds, where conventional motorcycle switchgear can look oversized. Each housing is precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, finished with a fine surface treatment and protected by hard anodizing.

Two Illuminated Push Buttons

The switch uses two momentary LED push buttons, allowing the controls and LED functions to be configured around your motorcycle’s electrical system. Depending on your setup, the buttons can operate functions such as:

• Left and right indicators
• Horn
• High / low beam
• Starter
• Mode or auxiliary functions

The integrated LEDs can also be used as visual indicators for functions such as turn signals, high beam, neutral or warning lights, depending on your wiring and control system. Available LED colors allow each button to be configured around its function or your cockpit design.

Minimal Two-Control Configuration

The 2-button version is ideal when only a pair of controls is needed on one side of the handlebars. For example, one switch can be configured for left and right indicators, while a second unit on the opposite side can handle functions such as horn and high beam. This allows builders to create a clean, symmetrical control layout without the bulk of conventional motorcycle switchgear.

Designed to Use Without Looking

The tactile push buttons are physically separated so each control can be identified by touch, helping make operation intuitive while wearing motorcycle gloves. Their compact arrangement keeps the switch visually minimal without sacrificing access to the controls. Each button has a 12mm outer diameter with an 5mm clickable surface.

Pre-Wired with 26 AWG Wire

Each LED button comes with 30 cm (12″) of 26 AWG wire pre-soldered, reducing installation work and eliminating the need to solder directly onto the miniature button terminals. The supplied wiring can be shortened, extended or integrated into the motorcycle’s wiring harness depending on the installation.

Internal or Side-Exit Wiring

For the cleanest possible cockpit, wiring can be routed internally through the handlebars or clip-ons. For installations where internal routing isn’t practical, the housing also supports external side-exit wiring. This gives builders the flexibility to use completely hidden wiring or a more conventional external wiring layout.

Compatible with Motogadget mo.unit & Custom Electronics

The momentary push-button design makes the switch suitable for modern motorcycle control systems such as the Motogadget mo.unit, as well as other compatible electronic control modules and custom electrical systems. Multiple 2-button switches can also be combined to create a complete minimalist handlebar control setup. Always follow the wiring requirements of your motorcycle or electronic control module when assigning button and LED functions.

The compact design is particularly suited to café racers, custom motorcycles and modern-retro builds, including BMW Airhead and K-series customs, Honda CB builds, Triumph Bonneville projects, Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 builds, Yamaha XS/XSR projects and other motorcycles using 22 mm handlebars or clip-ons.

Fitment depends primarily on the 22 mm / 7/8″ handlebar diameter and available mounting space, rather than the motorcycle model itself.
