A King’s Journey: Royal Enfield GT650 Build by Sane Motion Moto

As a motorcycle enthusiast, there’s nothing quite like the thrill of seeing a classic machine transformed into something extraordinary. Today, we’re excited to share the journey behind a standout custom motorcycle build that we collaborated on with the incredibly talented team at Sane Motion Moto, a premier Cafe Racer builder and MessnerMoto parts reseller based in Toronto, Canada. Our project revolved around a classic 2022 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, a canvas that has now been transformed into a modern machine that exudes both style and top-notch performance.

The Vision

From the very beginning, the vision of Sane Motion Moto was crystal clear: to create a bike that captures the essence of Cafe Racer culture while incorporating modern performance enhancements. Using high-quality parts from MessnerMoto, we set out to craft a ride that not only turns heads but also delivers a thrilling riding experience.

Innovative Upgrades

One of the key upgrades that elevated this build to a new level was the installation of our Race Custom Triple Tree CNC Conversion kit. Paired with our Clip-Ons, this integration allowed us to fit USD GSXR forks onto the Royal Enfield, bringing remarkable improvements to handling and ride quality. It’s a perfect fusion of classic aesthetics and modern capability that embodies the spirit of Cafe Racer culture.

Safety and control were paramount throughout the build, so we decided to enhance the bike’s braking and clutch functionality with our specially designed Motorcycle Master Radial Cylinder CNC components. Not only do these upgrades perform exceptionally well, but they also keep the bike looking sleek and harmonious.

Level Up

To maintain lightweight spoked wheels while maximizing performance, we designed and CNC machined a custom front hub, leveraging complex 5-axis machining. This innovation allows us to keep all the features of the modern GSXR forks while seamlessly integrating the timeless charm of retro-styled spoked wheels.

An eye-catching detail of this build is the Universal Fender for USD Forks. With cleverly hidden mounting points, the fender appears to float above the tire, adding an exquisite touch that further accentuates the bike’s sleek lines and aggressive stance.

Fine Touches

No custom build is complete without a strong focus on the finer details. Our Rear View Mirrors, LED Switches, Throttle, and a specially designed LED Headlight Bracket were all meticulously selected to achieve a cohesive design, ensuring that the rough charm of the Royal Enfield remains intact while enhancing its modern flair.

The Back

In collaboration with Sane Motion Moto, our design team crafted a custom Seat and Tail Fairing that flows organically with the original gas tank. By employing state-of-the-art 3D printing technology, we were able to produce parts that not only look phenomenal but also offer the durability required for the road ahead. The seamless integration of these elements transforms this bike into a true work of art.

Rear Sets and More

To cap off the build, we worked together with Sane Motion Moto to design brackets for the MessnerMoto Rear Sets, which improve riding posture and comfort on those long, winding rides. This upgrade is not just about looks; it enhances the overall riding experience, ensuring that performance and style go hand in hand.
